Away...

I'm suppose to be sleeping now, but for some reason, I woke up about an hour and a half after I fell asleep. Tomorrow, or should I say later, I will be heading home to the province until the 30th of May. I haven't been home to see my grandparents for the past 2 years, and I'm really excited about seeing them. Tomorrow is my grandfather's birthday, and instead of the usual big and hyped up celebration, we'll be having a small family celebration. Then on the weekend, we'll be heading to Atlantis, a beach resort, which is a 2 hour drive from Dumaguete. My mom said the place is great, and since she'll be staying home again this summer, she told me and my sis to enjoy.

For the first time in a while, my mom trusts me enough to let just me and my sister go on the plane. That's never happened before, and I'm pretty nervous considering that the terminal for domestic flights is a new place, so I don't know how I'll be doing things.

Me and shobe are pretty psyched about going back to Dumaguete. I miss my a-ma and all my other relatives over there. I'm pretty sure that my cousin Steffy, she's about 14 now, is a lot taller than me. She has a good set of genes to get her height from in the first place, unlike me and my small parents. :) I'm also excited about seeing the newly built family store, and the on-construction Robinsons. There's a lot that's been happening in the 2 years that I haven't been home to visit.

The only thing that's bugging me is that my parents refuse, or rather discourage me from bringing my laptop. I don't think I'll be able to survive 7 days without my baby. I need to check my mail everyday, since I receive about 50 messages everyday. I also have to update my Utopia province, or else I will die. I was planning on writing my fanfiction while I was there, since I'm sure to get a whole lot more inspiration then cluttered Manila.

Sigh, I'm still thinking on bringing it but my parents are afraid that someone might try to steal it from me or something, and it's dangerous since it's just me and my sister on the trip. I don't want to use the internet cafe there since it's pretty far away from the private lot that my grandparents live in. My cousins from the province informed me that they can get cheaper or was it free internet time at the internet cafe, since it was my family's construction company that built the establishment. That's really lucky, but I need my laptop to write..

Deliriously Bored

About a month more till ORSEM and then start of classes. It makes me think that we are both lucky and unlucky that we have classes later than everyone else. Summer is boring and I want it to end, yet I can't stand it if we have to start waking up early.

How are you guys holding out with summer? I can't stand the heat, and now there's a bagyo here. I can't stand it any longer. I'm becoming deliriously insane yet again.

Truly Yours,
Christa
